All activities at School House Nursery are appropriate to the childs age and abilities and operate within the ”Early Years Foundation Stage” guidelines.

We also have very good relationships with key organisations in the local community and regularly have fun visits from the local Fire Brigade, Police, Dentist and more!

Mealtimes
Mealtimes, breakfast lunch and tea, are an important, relaxed, social activity. Nutritious hot and cold meals are prepared on the premises by our own Nursery Cook. Our menus are well balanced and healthy. They are planned to meet the nutritional needs of the children and a planned menu is available to the parents. Healthy snacks of fruit and drinks are served throughout the day. Older children are encouraged to “dish up” their own foods, while a member of staff supervises.
